I've been on a month+ hiatus! First, I was struggling with my IBS. The only thing that I felt like eating was breads or crackers. After I had a "greasefest" in GA in March, my stomach has been in turmoil! Now, I've gone cuckoo over junk food...namely Fritoes and hot Cheetoes!!! My goal is to get back on plan tomorrow. I tried to drop some weight by eating only meat and veggies....NEWSFLASH TO SELF.....I need a balanced diet! Gotta have those carbs...just gotta make sure they're the good ones! Love that fruit! I will cheat if I don't have a sweet taste every day. Fruit is a good way for me to quench that need for sweets. I get so tired of the protein bars, but they will also help me with my sweet tooth! I'll start on plan again TOMORROW!!!! For real!!!! :)

sorbet is a good carb, very sweet! I found a low fat chocolate one made by a local company here...mmm delicious! 1/2 c counts as one serving. I find combining a carb with other food helps too, like cereal. I'll have cereal with milk and a banana as a snack. Been on a sugar snap pea kick too...those count as veggies even though they are peas but you're mostly eating the shell, not much for the pea inside.

I wish I liked veggies and could control myself when eating sweets. It's kinda like Lay's potato chips....just can't eat one. I can't stop with one serving of anything sweet!
