Gaining 2.0 kg a Week

I put on a little this past week, but not too worried about the gain. What I'm worried about is how I'm going to continue losing. LCHF doesn't seem to do it for me, and low calorie wasn't really working very well. What to do?
Hiking today, although that doesn't really help me lose, digging out my little dumbbells to see if that helps. I think I'm having some female hormonal issues, ahhh love being 54.

That's not uncommon to have weight fluctuate I guess it's mostly because for some reason you can't convince your metabolism to ramp up. It's called a low basal metabolism and sometime linked to thyroid imbalance or at least that's what I'm guessing. HIT will help, but it's seems to be more effective with men.

Perhaps try low fat, high protein, low net carbs of fruits and veggies with a little low fat dairy and eggs. Eat about 1200 calories - see what happens. If you eat too few calories you get stuck - maybe just moderate will do it?

I'm not losing but my inches are dropping and I'm not even exercising that much. Go figure. And my doc increased my thyroid meds and said that would help with MORE weight loss. We will see. We all just need patience with ourselves I think. :)

My thyroid meds have been steadily decreased due to the weight loss, and perhaps something about my eating has helped increase absorption. HCB...I did that for 6 weeks and nothing happened, that's why I tried LCHF. I'm still doing it, it certainly works well for maintenance. Neptune, the only way thyroid meds will help with weight loss is if you need the increase based on your blood levels. I've never found thyroid meds alone to help with it. I'm determined, I will find a way.
