Okay, I had a 3 pounder in a day! You have basically been on vacation, I don't have that excuse!!! I hope you did have a chance to enjoy Florida, I've never been there, I hope you were able to have a little ocean breeze and refresh and recharge. Let's not get down on ourselves, lets do this... Today is day one, I am motivated to loose 2.5 lbs in the next 7 days! Achievable goal, and motivating if you can loose 3.5!! Join me ???

Ok sounds like a plan. No ocean breeze just a little Disney Magic. Went to Disney on Tues. My hubby is from Orlando and we lived here for 4 years before moving to Alabama.

Hey, now you've got my number!!! Disney magic goes a long way! I hope to get there someday!! I hope Tink had a little magic dust lingering in the air to help with those 2.5 lbs! We'll get there! And by the way.... I know Disney California pretty well, you got exercise weather it be walking around, or standing in line. Record those hours on your exercise journal, when you see what you really are doing, I think it helps us realize, we are busier and more active than we think!

I know I got some stair climbing action in. We went to a new stunt show at Disney Hollywood studios and we ended up having to sit at the very top. Coming down I counted 10 flights of steps talk about pooped and that was running from the one attraction to the next becasue it was about to start. Very good thou and worth the effort.

Dust off girl, get up, chin up high, and onward and downward you go! ;0) You can DO IT! :) One day, one meal, one snack, one bit at a time!! By that... I mean, if you mess up for a day, you start on your next meal being good, and if you mess up on a meal, start w/the next bite or snack. Just get back to it, and you'll be fine! :)

I have very bad screw off days on my weight management, too. All I can do then is think very carefully how I am going to approach my next meal, and try to think about how I want the future to look before I open my mouth. That's pretty much how I handle "one step at a time."

We are all learning and it's expected that we haven't got it prefected yet. This is your first holiday without Larry and that in itself is a big adjustment and you have come a long way. It's not easy being "strong" all the time. Now we can just focus on the new day ahead of us and the new week and the new healthier YOU!! It is true that "temporary" weight gains can be taken off easier and faster if we attack them immediately. Any gain that has stayed longer than 3 days is more difficult to get off.. the sooner we get back on track the easier the pounds come off. I am hoping to lose 3 pounds this week myself!! lets do it together Golden Grinches Losin Inches!!

Okay-I am in!!! I just got myself another huge glass of water to try to flush out the salt that has puffed me up like a giant marshmallow. We grinches are made of strong stuff and we will lose those inches.
I was thinking about you yesterday Holidays are the hardest times. I am glad that you are back in touch.
