welcome to the group. you're with people now that genuinely get it! I would like to suggest that you set mini goals for yourself. even changing your goal weight on the app to something that doesn't seem so far away. 10kg or 5kgs at a time is a great way to keep yourself motivated because you feel like your achieiving things and making progress along the way. my body weight should be in the 60's... my first fat secret goal seemed impossible (62... like I was in high school 20+ years ago??? mmm unlikely). so I adjusted it to 80. since I'd been stuck in the 90s for so long, this felt like an epic accomplishment to me when I reached it. now my next goal is 72. celebrating smaller wins along the way has honestly helped me to stick it out.

Steph I would definitely do what Shereen suggested.... wont seem so insurmountable and you wont be discouraged... I'm setting goals at about 5 kg a time

This is such a good idea.. Especially because the app has a progress bar.. It feels quite demotivating when the bar stands still for too long :P

Let's be real 😂 feeling emotional and depressed because of weight seriously sux. It's not as easy for some to lose as others. So why put goal posts in front of ourselves that just make us feel worse. We have enough difficulty in life without making our hopes and dreams feel out of reach 🥂🥗🍖🍗🍦🍫 I am 💯% in for saying goodbye to things that give me negative self image and guilt. I'm so over those feelings! Mini goals are my thing. I've even had a 1kg goal. 80 - 79kg 🤣 and why not. If just being in a different target zone makes you happy, then that's a mighty fine place to be! ❤️

Hi Steph. You can do this. Have you tried listening to Marisa Peer on YouTube? Go take a look at her weightloss playlist. It’s free. It’s the BEST thing you will ever do for yourself. She delves into the psyche around losing weight. Why most diets fail and she gives you mental tools to help you everyday

Try intermittent fasting, but then you mustn't binge when the time comes to eat.
Try stick to regular size meals. Loads of water. Black coffee.
No sugar ever.
The 16 hour fast works for me. Start at 8pm. Can eat again at 12pm.
Exercise at least 30 mins every day.
Routine is key.

i agree with Shereen... mini goals is the best.... i give myself weekly mini goals and if i dont reach it i dont give up i just keep going because after few months all those mini goals ads up to one big goal reached... it makes weigh loss easier to just take it day by day.
But do what works for you and your body and makes you happy...
