I follow a plan hubby and I designed for ourselves. We detox for 5 days where it's just liquids like coffee, tea etc. Maybe a cup of soup if feeling faintish. Then nxt 5 days adding 1 soft meal like eggs or soup etc. After this its normal eating fish and chicken (adding in red meats only towards the last week of the month as we struggle to digest red meat).
We aim to keep our daily food intake for detox and soft food period (10days) under 500 calories. When we eat normally it is under 1500 calories. In the beginning we ate a lot of chicken, mixed veg, rice or mash and mushroom Sauce

Everyone goes at their own pace. I hope this helps so everyone can see with a little determination anyone can do it.
Hubby and I first focused on getting our eating habits healthier before we started getting active with walking or gym. We started walking 6 months into our healthy living and only started gym in Jan 2020 which was 8 to 9 months into healthy living.
