It's really hard when you put in all the work and the scale just doesn't do it justice ☹️ I think the best thing is to take a break from the scale, keep doing exactly what you doing and rather use a measuring tape - there's a good chance if you walking so much that your body is building muscle weight at a similar pace that you are losing fat - at the end of the day I would be OK with weighing anything if I had a tight little body 🤣🙈

PS 800g in one week is actually great - if you lose too quickly you might find that it's just unsustainable and fall back anyway. My MIL for example lost 8kg over 2 weeks (she is quite overweight though) but she was eating almost nothing and after the 2 weeks it's come to a screeching halt and now she is really struggling because she needs to lose weight for a surgery... Rather slow and steady and sustainable, than starving yourself and slowing your metabolism and then suffering worse

I’m going through this. And my friend also. I think it is quite normal for your body to lose slowly at the beginning. I think your body is abit shocked at what we are trying. She stayed consistent and she lost 15kg and now that she’s slimmer she is struggling because she’s lost so much weight. Just stay consistent. You body will budge. Try to do something more vigilant though. Try hiit training and go at your own pace. Get those printable workouts. Don’t do those long video workouts because i find them discouraging because I can’t keep the pace so i just get a printed workout. You’ll be fine. You are losing and you’re not gaining! Modest beginnings friend

And stop weighing yourself too frequently. It can set you back. Maybe weigh yourself every 2-3 months. But either way! Whether the scale moves or not we are not going back to sedentary lifestyles. We will continue to move. We continue to be better versions of ourselves. Get to that place where working out is no longer about weight loss but something you can enjoy. Stay strong

Okay keep doing what your doing. Your body is warming up to your changes sometimes you see change in body and sometimes u see change on the scale but not your body

I think you need to adjust your expectations. Looking at your history you’re losing almost a KG every week. That is pretty much the best rate of weight loss most of us could ever hope for. It didn’t take you two or three months to get to the weight you are and it won’t take you two or three to reach your goal. You’re doing a great job as it is and need to let yourself accept this is a long journey and not a sprint. Good luck.

It is better to loose it slowly. I find if I drink 1.5 - 2l of water a day (I hardly drink water and I am a PT) then that helps shift it and keeps my body working.

Have you taken body measurements? You will find that if you are exercising your scale doesn’t fall as fast as muscle is heavier than fat. But you will lose cm much faster than if you were sedentary. Hang in there. Losing weight is very difficult but you can do it. Rather healthy weight loss than crash diet where you’ll pick it all up again in no time.

hi Leonie. don't measure your journey against what others lose. we all have different goals, different reasons for our goals and different plans that get us to our goals. I eat a restricted calories diet with few carbs and lots of exercise and I lose around 10-12 kg a year. some people can easily lose 20 kg in a few months. focus on what YOU want and why YOU want it... I know it can be hard on a platform like this not to compare... but just stick to what works for you.
