Thanks bearnoggin! Definitely helps to have other things to focus on, but I think also I’m managing to curb my appetite more.

You sound so much like me when I first started. I was starving all the time. I started increasing my protein intake, which was not easy at first because I'm not a meat lover and I love carbs and sugar! If you start tracking your macros and eat enough protein you should feel fuller longer. I used to think I had to starve myself but I've found that's not true at all. I plan snacks into my evening because that's when I want to eat the most. I just make them smaller. Initially I was having jelly beans, or licorice. Now I have a Greek yogurt or nonfat frozen yogurt most nights. I have real bad acid reflux so I quit eating before bed but I used to plan a small snack then too so I could take Aleve. Now I eat dinner around 6:30 and have a snack at 8:30. It really does help keep me from trying to eat everything when I'm watching tv. At first I would watch the clock and think I can make it 2 hours. But now it's alot easier. I'll drink herbal tea if I just need to have something. Good luck! Keep trying different things! You'll find what works best for you! It probably takes about 3 weeks for sugar cravings to go away if you have trouble with that.

Thanks so much for the advice and encouragement, wow! 💚 I don’t have a huge sweet tooth thankfully... savory and salty stuff though, total weakness. I definitely feel better when I eat protein but find it a bit tricky to incorporate enough of it. Always learning though!
