But you made good progress through the month of March! From what I’ve seen others post, sometimes there’s a bit of a stall while our bodies readjust. Just hang in there and keep making good choices 👍

Stick with it and increase your water intake if you aren't at a gallon a day.

Hi Vicky, so sorry to hear you're frustrated, I've been there but worse yet the scale went in the opposite direction (can you even imagine 🤦🏽‍♀️). Here's what helped me: 1. I reduced my carbs to low/moderate. 2. I have my last meal for the day as early as I can (always trying for no later than 6pm), mentally I think of it as my stomach being a work site with a sign up ("Closed- Digestion in progress!") 3. A good night's rest (it has eluded me some nights but I'm still pursuing it) 4. Recognizing that to lose 1 pound you need to burn 3500 calories, that's alot so I celebrate every pound like it's a big victory. 5. Daily positive affirmations like "I am more than a conqueror through Jesus" reminds me that I've got the right stuff to reach my goals. 6. Being my own friend, cheerleading and encouraging myself. We treat our friends well, we need to treat ourselves well. If this was a friend who had lost 0.4lbs you would celebrate with them and not yell and say "that's all you lost", so you've got to be kind to yourself too. Wishing and praying you all the best as you continue on this weight loss journey. You've got this 💪🏽🥗🙂🌻

The scale doesn’t show all the good things going on inside the body. Your body is working very hard creating a healthy new you! In my life I went from needing to be in hospital to survive and needing multiple medications to cutting down on the medicines one by one. Great masterpieces take time. You are a work of art! Love yourself and celebrate every single ounce off! Those are minutes added to your new healthy life! Hang in there! We have your six!

This is good! The slower you lose the better. Your doing great!

I had someone once share the following analogy. She wanted me to visualize 1 pound of body fat as 4 sticks of butter. That has helped me so much over the years. So....think of that .4 pounds as just under 2 sticks of butter. That's a good amount of body fat off your bum! 😉😊 Stay strong!!

Sorry to hear you’re discouraged- another angle to look at is, well, to be blunt, how much you’re excreting. Some of the weight you may be carrying can just be clogged pipes. Just a thought. Otherwise, I’d definitely listen to the other commenters, such as Lisa, Ettenauj, Pounds, Vcabral, Rhumba, and Bgr. They all have good points. We’re all cheering you on- you can do this!

Sometimes it's new muscle tone, sometimes it's the density of the food not just the calories. Denser food takes longer for your body to umm...process. Either way you're making progress. Don't give up!

When in doubt, check Debbie out. Cousins, that is. Few weeks back, she was singing the same tune. Changed up her game, put in the work, and dropped 15# in 12 days. Her journal may be worth a look. Good luck!

Don’t be discouraged be encouraged! I always figure it took me years of bad choices to get to this size so I will take time to lose the weight. One pound at a time one goal at a time!!! Stay strong 💪🏾 and be encouraged! It’s not a race it’s a lifestyle so we have time!!!

4 lbs is a lot for one week!

It’s a numbers game with the scale. Don’t let it control your life. Are your clothes getting a little looser? Every pound loss takes TEN pounds pressure off of your spine. 👍

Celebrate!!! You are moving in the right direction girl!

As much as we wish the body worked like a math equation, there are lots of processes happening in the short term that prevent results from showing up on the scale. As long as you are weighing your food and accurately recording your calories, you can expect long term results. =)

excess water will make you also retain water weight.

It WILL pay off, don’t put too much stock in the scales when weighing daily
