Lize.v's Journal, 05 Jul 21

I’ve been losing weight quite consistently for the past year and maintained it for 4 months now. I promised myself that I would not weight 50kg+ again, but a few days ago I weighed 50 and now 50.8kg.
I started to eat more, because 1200 calories a day wasn’t sustainable, but now it looks like I’m gaining weight again.
Does anyone have any advice?
50.8 kg Lost so far: 9.2 kg.    Still to go: 0.8 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Try calorie cycling. Eat more on certain days. And less on others. Or you can try reverse dieting. Upping your calories 50-100cals. Once you have been able to still lose at an increase. You can increase a little again. It will take time though. Calorie cycling might be easier. For eg: Monday, Tuesday, eat 1000cals, Wednesday 1400cals. Thursday, Friday 1000 cals, Saturday 1400 cals and Sunday 1600cals. That’s just an example. You can increase the average cals per day. But this works out to 1200 cals per day. Some days you eat more than other. Maybe keep the refined carbs for the high calorie days and nutrient dense foods on the low days. That way you don’t feel like you’re eating less. Just some examples. But at the end of the day. Do what works for you.
