Is the doctor's scale on carpet? When I was pregnant, I would always weigh 4 pounds more at the doctor's office than at home. The nurse said that some scales are affected by the surface they are on and their's happened to be on carpet. Usually, though, a medical grade scale is more accurate. You may have just retained some fluid between home and the doctor's office. Best wishes.

I think it doesn't matter which one you use except how frequently you would like to check your weight. If once a month is often enough for you then you could certainly use the one at the doctor's office. However, clothes and time of day may cause there to be variations ... but there are variations no matter where you weigh!!!

Unless you weigh in at your doctors every week, I would go by the one at home. All scales are calibrated differently and you may weigh differently on each one. Consistency is the key in weight loss accuracy.
