After having googled my walk, I saw that I walked 5km last night.
It's not something I want to be doing too often.
One of my biggest concerns is to not do something to lose weight which I won't be able to keep doing forever, and which immediately when I stop, will start putting the weight back on.

Nice drop Monique. About 10 mins of walking at a moderate pace is 1 km. That's how I measure it, you don't have to google it.

Congratulations. I agree on the not exercising just for weight loss. I keep hoping that 'addiction' will set in where I WANT to do to it daily for the fun of it but I keep the cause & effect of it separate in my mind. WEight loss is 80% food intake; the other 20 (exercise) is toning mostly.

Wow, nice mileage on the walking! One day I walked so much that I have never been able to repeat it. After that, I wished that I had worked my way up to a sustainable level instead of going to the extreme. WAY TO GO on the weight loss! :)
