I am 56 and I achieved my first goal of 200lb to 175lb after around 2 months.
I am doing intermittent fasting and would recommend it to anyone who wants to lose weight.
I also do exercise regularly but I have always exercised but never lost the weight, so while it helps, the main thing for me really was the intermittent fasting part.
Whatever you're doing, you are looking to be on the right track.
