Okay. I'm fine with this. It's the mental game between the scale and what I'm actually doing. My weekly caloric average is in range for my goal. I've even been trying to give up table salt. Put that shaker in the cabinet! I'm hopeful that in a few days my body will say "Oh, you're not joking around?" and release some of this weight! WTAF! I'm staying on course damn it!

Yes, stay the course! I’ve had my share of puzzling things happening with the scale (I weigh myself daily first thing in the morning). I like to see and record the flux but I have seen how it also does not matter if I’m consistent and sure of my caloric deficit. Eventually, the scale mysteries resolve in one clear direction over time.
