I am honestly really upset, I used to losing weight every day. So now I have gained 0.8 kg I just feel horrible. Like I wasted all that time starving myself just to gain weight. I am not sure why, I feel like I look the same. Just bloated. Hopefully, it is just water weight or something.

Depending on where you are in your menstrual cycle will also add to the bloating. Plus as I told you, low calorie diets tend to react harsher when no longer followed. Let your body adjust, eat "real" foods, vegetables, fruits, meats, basically not "junk food" foods, and you'll be feeding your body and brain what it needs. As for why you feel you look the same, it's called body dysmorphia. It's VERY common in a) young adults, b) ED sufferers and c) weight loss patients. I've lost over 100 lbs, and were it not for my clothes, I feel and "look" the same. Our brains are fantastic, nasty creatures. You are beautiful. I'd kill to look like you (seriously, who can I kill to look like you? 😜) Big hugs.

you are beautiful and doing better just know we are all here to help help and support you. But I think it's water weight just like when I weighed in yesterday I was up a pound but today it's back down. lots of things determine weight esp since we bloat after drinking liquid and eating meals and hormones are a big part of it to. just don't think you are alone because lots of people here for you.

Yes, it feels upsetting to have your goals thwarted. I see you said "all that time starving myself". Your system adapts when you are not getting enough nutritious foods, so it will slow down & not burn thru what energy stores you have left. It is digging in its heels, asking you to quit being so strict & to give it a break from starving. Think how you feel when adults are strict & tell you what to do. Can you connect that to how you are treating your own self? You also said "I feel like I look the same." Even though weight was gained, you did not have a distorted view of the effect on you. This seems like a more mature, healthy perception of yourself. I hope this development helps you realize it's okay to maintain where you are. For now, eat high protein food, vegetables and/or fruits to hold steady & stay healthy, until you meet your doctor and/or psychiatrist for professional, informed guidance on whether your goals make any more sense for you.

There is not one thing burnitu6 said that can be improved upon. Please read, re-read, and read again her/his comments. Starving yourself will cause many problems down the road as your body is still growing and your brain is still maturing. You need nutrients to build a strong healthy body and mind. Very important. Especially for a smart girl like yourself.

Please focus on a well-rounded diet of fruits, veggies, and protein (with one guilty carb of your choice, such as bread, rice or potatoes). Do that every day. Adjust calorie intake (the amount of food) as needed based on your weight goal. 1 lb loss every 1-2 weeks is perfectly fine. It may take months to find the right optimum. In summary, adjust your diet first and the adjust your calories second. It doesn’t appear you believe that you have agency to do this but you absolutely can.
