I'm very pleased with this week's weigh in. I have worked very hard and plan to increase my exercise, fibromyalgia allowing. I know that this is going to be a long slog, but it's worth it.
My husband needs 2 knees replacing and a hip joint but he will need open heart surgery first. He has been told that he has to lose a considerable amount of weight first so he is being put on appetite suppressants to help him. I try to be as supportive and encouraging as I can and know how poorly he is but I must confess to being a little envious of this addition to his weight loss regime as I am constantly hungry and could eat a scabby donkey (as my father would say) 😂
🤞🏻 fingers crossed next week is a good one for everyone

did you read the NIH report on diet and fibromyalgia - apparently vegetarian and vegan diets releive symptoms - did you know? - I hope this helps.

Thank you for the information, I haven't seen that report, I will give it a read. I love animals and admire anyone who leads a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle but I must confess to being a confirmed (but guilty) carnivore. I have tried giving up meat and fish but I'm afraid it didn't last long. I think I must have a very selfish streak where my choice of food overrides any feelings I have for other living creatures. I do try to ensure that any animal products I buy are ethically sourced but I'm afraid that's the only concession I do make. I'm sorry if that upsets people but I'm just being honest
