Blue Viking's Journal, 20 Jun 16

Well I made it through my first week with cheat day in it.
I have to say that the much anticipated Private Selection Amaretto Cherry Cordial Ice cream was a let down. I only bought the small container because I know me and ice cream but I was disappointed. I think because I have been eating better was part of my disappointment. I am really more interested in getting to a healthy weight and the whole time in was eating the ice cream I kept thinking "will this destroy my momentum with losing weight?"
Well Monday morning weigh in is the reality check. I would rather lose weight than have the ice cream.
It also tells me that I need to prepare for the trip with my sister's now at the end of July as I don't want to gain weight on that trip.
This week is my second cheat day week on my plan. I intend to make better choices so I can lose some weight again.
103.8 kg Lost so far: 9.6 kg.    Still to go: 31.2 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

I saw this quote on Pinterest; "You can eat what you want or you can weigh what you want." I thought that is so true. I feel so good when I eat healthy and stick to plan. If I want something, I try to incorporate in to my plan (smaller portions). When I go off plan and cheat, I am only cheating myself. I am the worse self "sabatager". So I am doing everything I can to stop that behavior. Weight loss is hard. Good luck!

Look at it as data in. By doing things like this, you know at a gut level (pun intended) what the results will be. With data, you can make better choices.
