Back to the Red! Grrr! 248 again, I am on a mini roller coaster and I do not like it.
I keep gaining weight. Perhaps its a good sign now that I am up and moving around and gaining muscle. Muscle weights more than fat! I really hate that phrase, 1 lb of fat weighs the same as 1 lb of muscle. Duh, its 1 pound! What people should say is muscle is more dense than fat.
Maybe you can tell, I am not in the best spirits today.
Who am I kidding, i have not been eating the best food (need to log better too). Last night I had a plate of fried rice (homemade with chicken and veggies). It was good, but probably too much. Also have been snacking more than usual at work. Pretzels with salt too. I have also been forgetting my supplement pills. So not many things being done right the past few days, and it is showing in my weight. I can also tell with my activity being increased, so has my appetite. So there may be something to say about laziness after all :-).
Also found out last night my mother in-law who was recently found to have some cancer in her colon, has much worse news. The cancer has spread to her liver too. So that is not good news at all. She used to live with us for like 15 years, helped raise our kids and was generally part of our household until we moved overseas. She wont ride airplanes, or she would be here. In hind sight, its a great thing she is not here because the medical care here is 3rd world at best. Anyway, more will be revealed Monday. Lets pray for a miracle.
Gratitude, where is it today.. I am grateful for my family, someone to hold onto in tough times. I am grateful for kitty, who I have to lock out of our room to get sleep, but I still love her. I am grateful for my kids. I am grateful for my journey, and I have a place to share my feelings! I am grateful for my job. I am grateful for my tub, so I can get a gimp bath in it. lol I am grateful for medical insurance.
