Today was fantastic. I walk a great deal. Where I live, there are many foothills an steep hills. Being a diabetic Type I, I need to closely monitor my carbs and insulin intake. I'm happy,that I've lessened my intakes.Insulin by half and the carbs by, I don't really know. Now I'm taking anywhere from 6 to 8 units of fast-acting insulin(including a 24hr long acting insulin)per meal. Sometimes I skip lunch but I have a good dose of protein. Each meal is anywhere from 24 to 36 carbs.
To me, this is a good thing.
I'm sleeping well and for once, I'm, hungry, in the morning.
Color me grateful.
