I really haven't been following a diet. I've just been watching what I eat and trying to really listen to my body when it's full. I think I used to eat out of boredom all the time. I also like sugar too much, so I try to tell myself that if I want dessert at night than I need to wait for that special snack. I have a bag of Skittles and once in a while I will suck on one, like it's a mint. I just started school so I have even less time to work on my weight loss, but I also have less time to sit around the house looking for snacks!
50.6 kg Lost so far: 3.8 kg.    Still to go: 3.0 kg.    Diet followed: Poorly.
Losing 0.2 kg a Week

Perhaps try eating fruit or nuts for snacks. It helps me quite a bit when have the urge to snack.
