I’m confined to a wheelchair. Does anyone have any ideas for exercise from a sitting position? Thanks for any advice you might have!

There are small weights you can use to do a lot of different arm and twist exercises. Work up to larger ones at your own pace. Just try to be creative. Any movement is better than none. Your healthcare professional might be able to give you pointers on using different muscle groups. Good Luck!

I use a walker so I have some sort of idea. I like to put on the music and tap and move my feet. just up and down at first then moving side to side. If your feet are immobile just use your arms. Wave them over your head, I imagtion I am waving good by to the dock while I am going on a cruse. Add small water bottles in your hands as things get easier. There are videos that show exercises for the movement restricted.Some libraries have them u can rent for free. Dont get discouraged you can do it. Have fun , laugh at your self and smile.
