don't be so down on yourself, tomorrow is another day, diets take time to work and you have to find out what works for you. everyday is a constant battle for me, but I'm determined to WIN!!!!!!!

Don't beat yourself up. That is just an indicator that you need to try something a little different. The calories in calories out model is just one little piece of the puzzle and you might want to take a look at what you are eating. Its not about dieting its about changing life habits so efforts can be sustained. Also keep in mind that number on the scale can fluctuate + and - a lot through a day. If you weigh at home, do so at the same time and under as close as you can to the same condition every day then simply use it as one (the least important) indicator of how you are doing. Hang in there, you can do it, just may take a bit of time and experimentation to find what is right for you.

In my experience, Dr. scales are always at least 5 pounds over my scale at home. And my scale does not cheat.

Don’t be too downhearted, ideally getting weighed on the same scales each time is best as there can be variations. Chuck out the pills and try and eat a healthy balanced diet, small changes. Best of luck!

We have been mislead. First, for the most part, your weight is a function of what you eat. Physical fitness is essential for good health, and a function of exercise and nutrition. There are NO pills that will make your body burn fat, or for that matter reduce your hunger. When we accept these facts and acknowledge that we need to eat less and exercise more, we can make progress. Next, don't give up. Never give up. Keep trying to control your behavior. Start by gradually increasing your exercise level. Walking is the best exercise. Walking is what people evolved to do. Try listening to books on your walk or walk with a friend. The more time you walk the better. Try eating a little less. Try reducing bread, sugar and fat. Keeping a diary, as you are doing is important. And, like I said never give up.

Hello GrAmberE from my experience what works for me is jounaling everything "if you bite you must write" the reason is so you can actually see what works and doesnt work for you. Secondly consistency give your chosen plan time to pass or fail. Thirdly caloric deficit, you must be burning more calories then you are consuming. A pound of fat is 3500 calories, you must consistently be in a deficit to achieve this. Fourth thing that I found healpful a positive attitude! Good luck on your journey, you can do this!

Hang in there! It may be that the physician's scales are not accurate. If you weigh at home, go by them as long as they are consistent. Follow the advice others have given as it is all good and know we are here to support you. Soldier on; no surrender!

avoid diet pills, they ruin your metabolism along with other sideffects. especially if they contain gray area supplements.

Journaling is the way to go - it can be painful but you will see everything you eat on a daily basis

Every body is different. However it's also about cleaner eating, reducing salts, sugars and fats, increasing protein and healthy carbs. Also remember muscle weighs heavier than fat. Keep on keeping on, and NEVER give up on yourself. 💖

Yes avoid the supplement most have fillers in them. Write down everything you eat and drink water. I don’t diet but I watch what goes in my mouth, breads make most gain if the sandwich doesn’t need a bun don’t eat it. Good luck

Don’t waste your money on anything labeled “fat loss pill/supplement etc” they’re all 🐂💩 (bs). If anything, get something that will help suppress appetite, which is what most of those so-called “fat loss” pills do, they incorporate things which will suppress appetite and help control hunger to some degree which indirectly causes people to eat less calories which indirectly causes a caloric deficit, indirectly causing weight loss. No pill or powder or magical supplements will ever cause fat to be lost. Eat higher protein/fat/fiber dense foods, drink water during/in-between meals/snacks, eat fruits and/or veggies which also contain fiber & water which will aid in keeping you fuller longer. & cut out stuff that makes you feel more hungry or not satisfied and wanting to eat more foods 👍🏻

I am using the Arbonne 30 Days to Healthy living and beyond to kick start my clean eating transformation!

I found this site's RDI (recommended daily intake) seems to be off. I would go somewhere else to find my RDI. I also found that drinking water really does help. I'm not a big fan of plain water so I use a shot of mio (or something like it) to flavor my water a bit.

my weight loss has resumed when I added fats (good ones... coconut oil, bacon...) to my diet, I keep my pie around 75/5/20 and the scale is moving again, slow.... but downward! LOL

Use Sweetleaf Water drops in your water for flavor, its a stevia water enhancer, this is what I use from time to time. plus make your own flavored water by adding fruit to a pitcher of water, and let it sit.
