Yes of course, will be seeing a doctor and will likely need to go back on meds for it, I was just wanting to help that effort with my diet as well.

I don't suffer from it, but I know someone who does who has made lifestyle changes and has had some success shaking the weight. She didn't do anything really special though: eat better/whole foods (as natural as possible), move more (not necessarily killing yourself at the gym, but increase activity levels), reduce refined carbs and sugars, reduce/cut out processed foods (especially processed meats as they are higher in sodium). She also started intermittent fasting, but I don't really think that's mandatory. This is what has worked for her so far though, and isn't really a formula to success. I hope it helps.
Best of luck!

High cholesterol intake causes arteriosclerosis. Seems like keto would make that worse.

I used to take two different pills for hypertension. Then I started on the Keto lifestyle coupled with intermittent fasting (16:8) and after 8 months on the lifestyle I could stop all those medications. My cholesterol also went from 5 to 3.
I have multiple joint disease (a form of arthritis) and if I stray from the keto lifestyle, the symptoms gets worse and I have to go back on meds for it. So for me, keto worked wonders.

Keto makes your kidneys flush out a lot more water than normal so by default it lowers your blood pressure. Intermittent fasting also has a multitude of health benefits. Google Dr Fung. He has been a kidney specialist for more than 20 years and a world leading expert in LCHF and I.F.

Trust me when you get to eat things like bacon and full cream and learn to make yummy meals from what you are allowed you will never want a pizza again 😉

I’m on keto and loving it. You can make pizza from fat head dough, will take away your craving. And there are shiritaki noodles too and skinny pasta.
