I am reading some of the entries and I am not a specialist on this by no means, but I am looking at this weight issue with a different eye. This isn't a DIET! This is a new way or lifestyle. I am learning for the first time, the right way to eat and why I need food. Before I wasn't eating enough protein, I wasn't eating breakfast, I would just pick up anything whenever. But now....I am on track as to what I should have been doing all along. This isn't just for a month or 2. This is my new life, plus now I exercise and keep active. What I love the best is looking at the foods I am eating and seeing what the foods contain!!

And that is the big "secret" to weight loss success and maintenance. Learning how to do this for the rest of your life - finding out how and doing it!

You are correct - change is for the long-term not just a diet. We need to change or we will just gain it back!
