Had a great day today!!!
I slept until noon!!! How crazy is that? I just felt like staying in bed, so I did. It was great!
And then, I had to weigh in for the 50lb challenge and I lost a pound. Do you people know what that means????? It means I'm UNDER 250!!! FINALLY!!!
When I finally got moving there was already a big family plan for Sunday dinner going on so I got busy fixin goodies. Did some runnin around - went to the grocery store and was recognized by one of the clerks - "Aren't you the woman that tried to buy cupcakes last night?" ha!!! I told her that I was saved by the diet gods and she laughed. I can't get away with anything in this town!!! I guess that's okay with me, though.
We had a great dinner of brisket, fresh green beans, baked beans (although I made them, I didn't have any), cauliflower cheesy bake, potato salad (again, I did not indulge) and fresh baked rolls (the hardest to avoid!!). And then I cut up some fresh strawberries and served them with cream. Everyone went crazy about them. I ate some. The first fruit I've had in MONTHS.. They were soooo good. Can't believe it was legal!!
Although I know I can start incorporating some berries into the plan, I am promising myself that I'm not going to have much. I am losing so slowly I don't want to add too much in yet. But boy, were they good tonight!!!
LUNCH 1/4 cup of cheesy cauliflower bake = 2C 3 slices of bacon = 0C
DINNER 2 slices of brisket = 0C a mess of green beans = 3C 1/2 cup of cheesy cauliflower bake = 4C 1/2 cup of strawberries with cream = 4C
TOTAL = 13C
I will probably have a small snack of something later. I mean, I slept until noon, so i'll be up for awhile!!!
