First attempt?! Did u remember to butter the Outside of the bread and not the inside,,,,coz that's the mistake I first made many moons ago!! 

Haha, well actually I did neither... I buttered the toaster? I'm guessing I did it wrong? xD 

U nearly got it! Make a normal sandwich with no butter inside, otherwise the meat or cheese doesn't stick to the bread and oozes out the sides. When it's made, butter the Outside of the top slice,,lift it and turn it to place the sandwich with the butter side on the toaster, and while it's sitting on the toaster, quickly butter the other side of the sandwich (which should now be facing you) and close the toaster. I hope I explained that properly lol let me know how u get on ❤️

Thanks so much for this advice! Buttering the outside of the bread certainly sounds like a much easier way of doing things! I found it was quite difficult to apply the butter evenly when trying to rub it directly on the toaster and in the end I think ended up flooding the machine with butter 😅 I will give this a go tomorrow and hopefully show you how it goes haha 

Lol@Adpully😂 Mike- u are so welcome, I remember when I got my first breville toastie maker and I didn't have a clue, there was more melted cheese dripping out of the machine and onto my worktop than what was in the sandwich, then when I opened the lid, the bread was all stuck to it 🤣 ❤️
