Yesterday I ate a delicious chocolate croissant and lots of freshly baked focaccia. It’s been almost 2 weeks since I drastically reduced refined/processed sugar. I was mindful of the effect the croissant had on me - I ate it in the morning and felt a blood sugar spike. I’ve also noticed that when I eat refined sugar like this in the morning I really battle to balance my appetite - I crave food all day long. I actually hate how refined sugar makes me feel. This reaffirms my commitment to remove it. Today started strong - a restorative yoga flow and then a nutritious breakfast of oats + quinoa porridge, plant protein powder and blueberries. I feel good.
82.3 kg Lost so far: 7.8 kg.    Still to go: 9.3 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
