First day in a new job and I’m nervous. After 20 years with one company, I changed companies and jobs because I finished my doctorate of nursing in May 2022. My old company didn’t want to offer me appropriate pay/position to match my years of experience and new degree. So, I had to change companies. Just like my journey here in FS, changing jobs is hard and scary. While I am progressing slower here than I would like, I am progressing. I will be glad when I get the first week under my belt in this new job. I think getting started is the hardest part for me as I know that if I put in enough work that I can succeed at almost anything I set my mind to whether it is losing weight or earning a degree. Time to shower and walk before my first day on the new job. Wish me luck!
