It has taken me a long time to make a journal post here. I have been tracking intermittently and working with a Dietition to help keep me accountable. I am 40+ pounds into my weight loss journey, since August 2022, with at least another 40-50 pounds to go. I gained this weight over years and it may take me a while to lose it. I have been overweight since I was a teenager and obese for many years. My goal is to get into the overweight range for now and then see where life takes me.

When I started this journey in August I had gotten to the point were I was getting short of breath with light activity and I had to increase blood pressure medications. This scared me more than the number on the scale and started me on a healthier journey.
