I went to an estate sale and auction today. I wanted a dog bed for my spoiled pup. I also got 38 cans of cod liver in its own oil for $16. All stamped to be used by 2026. The cats like the dog bed. Now I need to find some good healthy recipes for the cod liver. Can you make them up like salmon cakes?

I don't think they would work up into a patty like a salmon cake, but that doesn't mean that isn't a possibility. I've just never heard of it. You can make pate with cod liver, but then you'd need some kind of bread or cracker to put it on, so that's not a low carb option.
I found a recipe for cod liver deviled eggs that sounds very good.

I do hope you find something yummy to make with them. That's quite a bargain.
