PCP; visit went well this afternoon, Dr said if isn’t broke don’t fix or change nothing. So that’s what I’m going to do; still going to take the 4 blood pressure pills I’m taking; also continuing on the meds for Hashimoto’s disease; just adding magnesium and vitamin d3 to the arsenal of meds.

Awesome Rob! I’m so happy that it went well!! May I ask why you’re on 4 blood pressure meds if you don’t mind?

Take K2 in addition with D3 for better absorption etc.

FWYTYK; I honestly don’t know, guessing it was due to me being 313lbs

Plus a multivitamin

Quite possibly. Well hopefully you’ll be able to get off of them soon or at least reduce what you have to take. Speaking of which I need to start back taking my multivitamin etc 😂

Good plan. I think I mentioned before, with Hashimotos you always have to watch vitamins D and B. I also include zinc as it helps with immune issues. Glad you are proactive!

Diana 1234; I’ve mentioned further autoimmune diagnostic testing to my Dr. I was told it’s expensive, even with insurance. All the labs I’ve had this year was over 4 grand.

The only downfall to the pcp visit from Wednesday was Dr was a bit concerned with the amount of weight I lost while I was sick for 3 weeks; it was more than expected.

I can see their perspective on that, but did they mention further into why it was concerning other than being more than expected?

I normally lose around 3lbs a week; some weeks I loose 6lbs or more depending on how much I eat and what I’ve eaten. I nearly lost 4lbs a week the 3 weeks I was sick. So it was concerning to her that I was loosing too fast. But I’ve lost 118lbs in 38 weeks.

Real question is, do you feel like you are losing too much too fast? I’ll just say that you are doing an amazing job with your journey and as long as you are healthy in the process, that should be the only thing that matters. Those numbers are a lot higher than what’s safely recommended to lose per week on average, but then again we all are a bit different and we know our bodies and capabilities better than most. 118 pounds in 38 weeks though, wow!! What’s your secret lol?

No I don’t think I’m loosing too fast; the second thing is I have no secret, just learned early on in this journey; to control portions and least walk 3-5 miles a day 5 days a week and do my best not to eat fatty foods or excessive sweets.
