So, it is finally summer, a tough time for me. I teach, and I love routine. I usually find myself gaining wieght during the summer, because I just plain can't stay away from food. I admit, I eat out of boredom. I started out on South Beach and lost about 10 lbs with that. Then, in April, I switched to WW, and have lost about 8 lbs. I am now at a 2 week plateau. I go between 149 and 150 every day. It is frustrating, because I want to lose another 20, but I am wondering, is that attainable? Did anybody see FAT, that documentary on PBS a couple months ago? It was great! They talked about genetic set points and how the intestines actually have their own nervous system, and there is no way to fight that nervous system...hard to explain if you didn't see it, but if you have Netflix, check it out. Anyways, today was a good day. I actually stayed right on my points. I did notice that the last couple of weeks I have been "spending" my activity points and using my flex points and part of me wonders if that is why I am not losing...
