Oh no! I didn't do very good yesterday with my eating...I ate some vanilla cream cookies-it was the darn PMS that got to me. Back on track double time today. This was the first time I caved since I've been back on Atkins which has been 4 weeks now. I still worked out for 20 minutes but no walk-it was kinda drizzly so didn't feel up to taking a chance of getting rained on. Any of you ladies out there have any recommendations on how to curb the PMS cravings that can be so strong at times???

I have tried a few times drowning my sweet cravings in a giant bottle of soda pop. Sometimes it actually works...also sometimes if I go the extreme opposite, like getting pickles instead of sweets the flavor in my mouth makes me loose my craving.

I have found a little trick that works for me. I get a cup of crushed ice from my refrigerator, then put them through my ice shaver which makes it like you would have for an icy cone and then I pour my Atkins shakes over them. I absolutely love them because it is like drinking a milk shake! I got the ice shaver at Wal-Mart for $14.95 & it is the best investment I've ever made! Some days, the "shakes are all I need to get through, or I have one of the Atkins snack bars with one. It's working for me. Then, some days, I have the egg omlets, steak, or something like that. Depends on what I am doing; how busy I am. Worth a thought?

thanks for the ideas. I think I like the ice shaver idea too. It is starting to get warmer and a hot meal isn't always in store on the hot days so a shake would be great...but I know just one a day lol. Thanks for the support!
