I am really starting to feel the benefits of my new eating habits. "Sweets" do not have the same appeal as they once did. I am no longer a slave to my cravings. The numbers on the scale going down are great, but the focus I now experience is one of the biggest surprises and greatest blessings.

Happy Wednesday everyone. I am at a steady pace with weight loss, but would like to lose a little more each week. During the past couple of weeks, I have not been eating enough vegetables, so my goal this week is to eat more vegetables/fiber.

I know this is a weight-loss forum, but stress-levels play a huge role in our eating habits and our health. After the events of the last 24 hours, I thought the following is appropriate to quote: "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails." We all need peace, within our society and within ourselves.
