Weds 08/19/15
Can't sleep, head and neck hurt. Eyes feel sleepy - maybe after breakfast I can sleep a bit.
BG 108. Eating 3 pieces bacon w miracle whip and Udi's gf bread - 2 slices.

I see pcp today 11 am. so need to sleep a few hours. May not be able to take shower yet. light headed - doesn't feel safe to do it.

Got up and ate a meal and did meds etc.

Appt w pcp. Got lab results BG 85, A1C 6. So the type of eating I have been doing works to manage this diabetes for my body.
Asked about the nausea - Dr said food moving too slowly - so I can simply add more vegets and fruits. No problem. Try to keep it at 70 g carb or below and should do ok.
Got an xray of my head - will get results next Weds./ Walked a fair amount.

I got up late, don't remember what I ate. took meds. BG 117.

paid bills etc. saw podiatrist, she fixed the ingrown nail. Got rx for antibiotics. Need to get diabetic shoes. have a paper to take to pcp Weds.

Walmart & bank. Daughter Terelyn met me there - we found school clothes for DJ.

I got office supplies for the ones in my system who don't know how to use computer - learning time too long, we lose too much info. And I want them to participate in this life. They will learn, I just want them to use what was familiar to them before they went to sleep.

head wound is better. Toe hurts less. parietal area of head is very tender tonight. Was assaulted Monday evening. not sure if I wrote about it.

BG 94 Tues night. neighbors visited with me awhile.

5:30 am bg 103.

An alter who claims to be a mothering type of alter took over and allowed an indulgence day. Didn't take meds yesterday.Didn't feed the body right yesterday. We had weird dreams, kept getting cold - she didn't get the warm bed cover onto the bed. The body didn't sleep well and woke up with calf muscle spasms. I hope she experienced it too, not hiding out away from the pain.

I'm taking Sunday meds and feeding the body the high protein shake.

She didn't clean and change out the cat's litter and water. That's done now. Food for cat is always set up.

So tired body hurts so much. Pain level 8 out of 10. Took Aleve - wish I had something more to help.
Will go back to bed and try to get some sleep.Gotta go to church today.

Spacy at church. 1 small dove dark chocolate. Pain level remains high. 7 over all with parts 8.

It's supper and I've taken in about 34% of the RDI - bg is 118. too high.
Finally figured out why - I did water aerobics Friday, over did it . So pain levles are higher than usual. So didn't exercise Sat and Sun. So bg level is higher.

I want to find out more about glucose index and glucose load -

08/14/18 slept 10 hours

BG at 10:50 106. So I will do a brunch this am.

Checked with UMoveFree. None of the other places on the like list offered senior discounts either. So to reduce stress, we signed a lease agreement here. Gonna be costly. But we did sign for 15 months, which will work easier for us (me and my ally personalities) to know where we will be living. The neighborhood is fairly safe - drug dealers across the street, but I ignore - not using for 19 years and active again in NA helps.

I researched rental ins companies - cost is about the same no matter what company.

I have to do chores inside. Set up meds for the week. Trash out, some cleaning in kitchen. Don't know if I can go for walk or water aerobics or not today. the challenge is for 15 min, so after we set up meds we will do some chair exercises, so we get it in. Would prefer the water, but allies are anxious about the state of the apt. Been neglected.

5:20 pm bg 108 postprandial. too high, not sure what to do about it. Vision ok.

I couldn't figure out from the list how to determine the gf apple cobbler I made. So I selected what seemed sensible. Cooked it on the stove top. Made it up as I cooked. Wont' have this often, but those apples really needed to be eaten - getting old. Won't buy so many next time.

8:40 am bg 95.
disturbing dreams. Headachy this am.

It's 2:30, and I have about 1000 calories left to eat to get to RDI. And I'm already at 50 g carbs. and not enough protein. This is harder than I thought.

Did water aerobics this afternoon. Felt pretty good, but it was hard to get the kinks out of my back. Used the steps in the pool, did pies and found out I can do jumping jacks in the pool easier than on the floor - lower impact cause the water is supporting all this fat maybe? Played catch with one of the kids there. Can't do side stroke well - back starts to spasm.

I will do a very high protein and fat dinner and leave just enough carbs so I can have some milk.

I will get to an NA meeting so I have that under my belt before the weekend. There is a speaker jam I will go to Sat at one of the groups I attend.

That means I'd better get something accomplished here at the apt, fridge need a good going over and kitchen cabinets and fronts need good wash down. That way I will know going forward what food to purchase that I actually need until the end of Sept.

I may stay here, but I want the fridge food to all be something I'd like to eat. Not stuff I don't like but get cause I'm told its good. But stuff I like that is also good for me. My alter personalities will be happier with that rather than being forced to eat stuff they totally hate. - they like spinach, but not kale or mustard greens - they are too bitter. I can do it like you do with children - introduce more vegetables to them. I think they will enjoy making vegetable sheets and curlicues instead of pasta.

I'm low again - about 450 Kcal short of RDI. I did keep the carbs at 60 grams.

I have some apples that need to be used up and some GF stuff to make a cobbler. So I will do that tomorrow.

Had milk so I could take my hs meds and herbs Getting late, my cat got her play time, but not the cuddle time.
