at my age (turning 63 next week) I think losing 6 lbs this week is really good. I haven't started an exerise routine yet because Im playing with letting my body lose for a while and then when I "stall" Ill kick it up. I do go to Curves with a friend three times a week but it's not much of a workout there.

Been on cruise for two weeks, got back weighing in at 181.lbs we have been off our diets for over a year now and it has become important once again to get back on south beach diet which did so well for us and our doctors were so happy with results in health improvements. Hubby even got off diabetis pills and off the computerized diabetic list.. he is now considered NOT to be diabetic anymore... all from diet changes we made. Now it is time to get healthy again

Ive been off plan for a long time. Went on cruise and just got back weighing 181.0 lbs, Starting South Beach phase one again with hubby.

not following any diet, just got back from trip to Cancun. Ive actually been cooking meals that are easy to take to my friend that has a broken leg and her husband, so we have been eating casseroles and things like that. I just make double and send one to them and we eat the same thing here. Have no idea why I lost weight after being in Cancun, drinking my share of wine there and returning home to casseroles but Im thrilled

Seems it has been longer than I thought getting back here. So much has happend recently and its too much information to even try to write about. Fact is I (We) have been so busy and so many things have happened that my time is just eaten up lately. I don't think I will be doing any challenges and will just come to weigh in a couple times a week. That will keep me honest. I have lost a tiny bit of weight since last time I was here but it wasnt because I was truly motivated. Its because my husband had a accident and his mouth got busted up pretty bad, took stitches in his lip and spent 3 hours. So he had to go on what I call "The blender diet" and I didn't want him to do it alone, so i went on it with him. So we have had three meals a day from out of the blender (BTW... bean soups or soups with beans seem to work the best and be the tastiest)...we have both dropped a few pounds. That is a good side effect from a bad accident. Anyway things are hectic and a mess and taking up a lot of time. There are other things happening too, but they are all of them long stories. I will check in and start weighing in once or twice a week. Ill. be checking up on some of you but not posting on journals unless I have time. I have to start losing now because the holidays are coming towards us fast. We also want to remember how we didn't gain weight and most of us lost weight last holiday season..so we know we can do it... RIGht???!!! Lets stay motivated.
