YEAH! It only took a few days of sticking to the "only one snack at 100 calories or less" per day AND no snacks after 9:30pm (we are late nite supper eaters and late to bed types here)
I tell ya there is a lot to this simple thing of just eating your basic meals and a lite snack (not to late). The evidence is mounting up fast for me. When I snack late or snack on more than that limit of 100 calories the weight shows UP on my scale almost immediately and does not go Away. I am loving what I am learning with this personal challenge between me a few friends here. THIS IS GREAT!! It is just difficult breaking the old lifetime habit of late night snacking but I am determined to do this. Hubby is doing it with me also, He knows that I could not do it if he were snacking next to me each evening, so he is going though "withdrawal" along with me. I have a great husband! Giving up snacking is true love!
I hope my friends are doing as well, isn't it amazing?! If we can just control this one thing... it could be the success we have been searching for. I hope I can keep this Enthusiasm going.

'm going to try to get my weigh-in tomorrow. This morning my hubby was sleeping in and I got dressed and out the door before I remembered to weigh in. I think weighing in first thing in the morning is what I have been doing so didn't even want to look at the scale after breakfast and almost mid-day now.
As for the late night eating, I definitely see a difference between nights I snack and nights I quit snacking by 9pm (we are the late nite eater's group with dinner at 7-8pm). On the days I do not snack at night my weigh is down, on the days I eat later than 9pm my weight is up on that morning, a definite sign!
I appreciate my friends joining me on this quest. Im sure the late nite snacking is our #1 problem, not to mention the extra calories per day. I'm trying hard to keep my nite time snack to 100 calories or less. SF Fudge-cycles are great but I'm getting tired of them. Its Overkill on the fudge-cycles. I think the SF jello and puddings are boring. I do like the South Beach recipes for custard and the one here on the recipes for the pumpkin custard. Just too lazy to make them most of the time. Also because I like them so much I don't want to stop with just one! It's like asking me to eat just ONE peanut. I am avoiding those types of trigger foods.
How are you all doing this week?? I'll check in tomorrow with my weight.
