I have one more day on the road and I am not choosing the menu today. Company events all day, then the company president’s Christmas party tonight. I’ll just need to pick and choose from what is on my plate. It’s not easy for me to not finish the food on my plate.
I’ll be back home tomorrow morning for a birthing class with my wife. Can’t wait.

One of my co-workers lost 180 lbs in the last year and a half. 325 -- 145 and is still loosing weight. She sent me these websites to help with calculating calories etc.

I’m traveling for the rest of the week. This is the hardest for me. I feel obligated to eat "Comfort food'. I am glad I made it through the day with no junk food. Just weeks ago, it would not be uncommon for me to have fried food or a huge cheeseburger on the road. And desert… why not… Ugh! Not anymore!
As many of you know Applebee’s has a weight watchers menu.
I had the Onion Soup listed as 150 cal 3pts and shrimp and steak skewers listed as 370 cal 7 pts.
Hard to believe the onion soup (with crouton and cheese) is only 150 cal. How can I confirm this? Can we trust any of these Weight Watchers menus?

Yesterday there was pork BBQ at work for a customer visit. I was tempted but drank a bottle of water and ate my lunch early. I walked by the buffet a few times, but resisted. Any advice on resisting food temptation would be helpful.
My wife got me the Weight watchers all time favorites cook book. I had the Margarita Chicken last night. it was really good.

First dinner with customers was a success. Half a steak, asparagus, some veggies, and I splurged with salad capresi with mozzarella (ok, not perfect) Drinks -- Club soda with lime. no desert but coffee with milk.
I don't even think anyone noticed I was on a diet. I think I was expecting some high school styled peer pressure. Not sure why I thought that, but glad I was wrong.
