I'm in the "zone" this week. By a miracle we won't be hosting my 7 year old step son this weekend. So that means no breakfast at Shoney's, no pizza for dinner, no picking up pretzels while at the mall. This weekend should help me kick my effots into another gear. The workweek has been so awesome and I really needed to be able to carry that through the weekend. I've been stagnant at around 257 for about 3 weigh-ins now and I really want to get to that 255 point. I'm so ready for a mani/pedi. I was hoping to get my facial/massage/mani-pedi done in the same day :) Hopefully with this extra advantage I have this weekend, I can reach that goal by Monday. I've also worked out every day this week.
Just FYI to anyone who's been reading my progress. I am not actually following the SB diet. Initially I started, but I've kind of fallen into my own plan since some time in November. I just din't want to change to 'Keeta's Own Diet' because I didnt' want the weight that I'm not now to be recorded as my new starting weight.

OMG. I think I'm on some kind of food/energy high.... Just ate a healthy choice meal and a Red Delicious apple and I feel a little quirky... hmm....

Was very successful yesterday. After going to the gym, my fiance had a craving for some fried,battered chicken from Popeye's and asked if I would go with him to get it. I told him no and that I would eat something that we already in the house. I guess he felt guilty for wanting the fried chicken because he decided to just come home and eat whatever i was cooking :)
Also I was looking at my weight history and I see that I'm actually where I started in January of last year. So, something happened where I lost focus and gained not only the few lbs that I lost, but the extra that put me at my all time high - 268. Why do I start off so well and then become unfocused? I need to remember to take a look at my weight history every now and then to see that I am making progress and as long as I don't quit, then I'll reach my goals.

Wow. I thought the easiest thing to do was to eat 3 dinner meals at home this week. Already on Wednesday I've eaten out twice! Tonight we are definitely eating in. I already have the chicken breast in the fridge thawing.
