Day 3 of detox again.... I feel much better. Hopefull I've got that pig out of my system. I ate pork 4 days last week. Not Good. I am starting to feel less like a pig and more like myself. Hopefully by the end of day 9 I will have reached my new goal.
oh here is my menu for day 2 and 3 of detox
breakfast egg white/ rasberries day 2 & 3
snack day 3 soy milk with strawberries and banana smoothie
lunch day 2 garden fresh cucumbers and tomatoes in vinegar(I'm from the south)
lunch day 3 saute squash and zuchini 10 pistachio
snack day 2 10 pistachio
dinner day 2 salad
dinner day 3 not decided yet. (more than likely a salad)

I really do feel as if I am starting over. I started back with the detox. I felt horrible yesterday. I know this, for me anyway lasts about a day or two, will not last long. I did however do my workout despite my headache. I ate a lot of pork last week and my whole body feels swole. It is weird. I can see it in my fingers and legs. Needless to say I will not be having a week like last for a long time to come. Hopefully never. I can see the effects these foods have had on my body and it is not fun. Here is to detox!

I am so glad this weekend is over. It has been filled with birthday cake and cookouts. I'm crossing my fingers that my weight will not go up in the am when I check out the scales. This morning was fine. But that was before 3 pieces of cake. I know. I know. That is bad. There is no excuse. I have none. BUT all three were really good. Ok I know that is not funny. I'll be pissed in the am I'm sure. Going back thru detox to hopefully clean my body out of all the junk I ate. Birthdays only come once a year. It sounds like my birthday doesn't it? It wasn't. My husbands. Kids wanted to make a cake so we did. Friends bought a cake and made homemade cobbler. All three are still in the fridge. Ridiculous I know. Tomorrow is a new day for me and will definately be a day without CAKE or COBBLER.
Back to the grind of smashing fat. (I should have smashed that cake.)

Well the scales are not moving and believe it or not that is good news. Last week was not a good diet week for me. With the holiday I doubt this week will be either. So I am extremely happy that I've maintained. I've still been working out. My main objective for the week is continue to exercise and portion control. I can do that. SO this time next week I will at least weigh in at the same #. Good Luck to All! Happy Fourth of July!!!

I did it. I burned 600 calories on my bike. It took 62 minutes but what is 2 minutes really. My diet has been poor. I know I said no excuses. BUT really this time a month I just crave chocolate. It's part of my make up. So I have indulged quite a bit this week. I'm hoping that my exercise will help me to at least maintain.
