Still doing pretty good, I would say that I am following the diet "reasonably well". I am hoping that my weigh in next Tuesday will reflect as such! I know it will.
Question regarding the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, we had a discussion during lunch about Cool Whip vs. "real" whipped cream. If I were to indulge in something sweet, which would be the better option? I am thinking of baking some "pumpkin squares", my grandma used to do this because I did not like pie crust, so she just baked it in a pan. I can do an Atkins friendly version, but it just isn't as good w/o a little topping. Someone was saying Cool Whip is not a dairy product (??) and that got me a little confused.
Thanks for any input and maybe if I write it down, I'll post the recipe for the pumpkin squares! =)

Well, I did it and am back under the 300 mark (for now). That made me feel good this AM. I just think what I could do if I hadn't eaten that french onion soup on Saturday and not stolen a bite of my son's delightful cornbread from Hickory River BBQ! I can do this, I can do this, I can do this!!!
Thanks for the support and ideas, they always help. Keep them coming and I'll fire some back your way!
Have a great rest of the day, might check in later.

Well, my computer got fixed yesterday afternoon and I am in the process of adding in my food, as best I can remember. I did well but I think I pressed it a bit on my green veggies, so I am going to work on that better today. I also had some horrid back pain last night, had to break out the BioFreeze in order to sleep as I am out of Aleve. I am going to tell the boys that I need 60 minutes to myself to get my Yoga back in tune, that always helped my lower back release. I can say for the first time yesterday I didn't have a lot of desire to gorge myself on food. And this AM I wasn't starving when I got up either. I think I can do this!

PS. HOLY CRAP! I just entered my food yesterday and didn't realize the carb count in Onion Soup! Well that screwed that day up... at least I didn't go too nuts in the AM, we'll just get back at it today.

I have started feeling the drained out period of induction. I think it is because I actually got down to 20 net carbs yesterday and so far with my menu today I will keep it down. This weekend will be a challenge, as my son is going to grandmas and my hubby has to work, so I’ll be home alone. Hopefully I will get my computer fixed and will be able to hop on and kill some time that way. And it is supposed to be cold as hell over the weekend, so I don’t know if I’ll get to take my (little) dogs to the park for their weekend long walk. Typically we’ll go to this one park and take the long trails and it is about an hour long walk. I get so damn achy when it is cold, plus the drain I feel now I don’t know how motivated I’ll be to do much of anything.
Alright, can you tell I feel blah! Stop griping damnit and get up and do stuff!
Anyhoo… I know I can do it and I will stop sniveling sometime today (hopefully).
I hope you all have an excellent weekend and if I don’t talk to you sooner, I’ll catch everything up on Monday AM.
