There's been a lot of movement on my scales but it is all backward and forward, up and down and side to side - so I tried oh the okey-cokey with a knees bend, arms stretch and a ra ra ra - and it didn't make a difference.
I don't seem to be often in the mood to record food and I'm a bit forgetful of what I've been eating too, but what's positive right now for me is that I'm floating along without too many major mess-ups on the menu.
Recently I went into the office kitchen fully determined to eat some cake, (the offer had been made), but I somehow didn't want it when I got there.. jam donuts, iced donuts, chocolate muffins, chocolate eclairs, even cadbury's creme eggs.. I just didn't want any of it enough for the calorie intake.. so I had about 8 grapes instead.
I know that when I really do want to shift a few more pounds I may just have to stop enjoying the floating along part of things for a while, but for the moment I'm happy that I'm not going wildly the wrong way, especially as if food was still being regarded as some sort of shield or solution I'd have put on heavily of late.

Some time back I was very happy to be finally fitting back into a pair of size 16 jeans, though I mentioned that the pair I really wanted to get back into was three sizes down from that...
well.. today is the day...Size 10 stretch jeans, perfect fit!
Ok so a new pair off the shelf might not be a perfect fit, but these ones much danced in long ago are fitting me now just like they used to. And a range of tops that person used to wear are looking like a good fit too.
It is difficult not to be happy about that, too difficult for me anyway.

Been a little bit vulnerable to post-midnight snacking - but I've been slanting the daily consumption to give myself some room for that so most days it just about fits into the plan, although I do think it would be better if I left myself some sleep-time to do other things than just digest food (I am aware of that one).. anyway, the loss continues merrily.
Bumping back up the consumption of veg and chilli may have helped.
