I try not to weigh myself everyday but was curious this morning. Apparently, cutting back the carbs has kicked the weight loss into high gear. Over a pound lost since yesterday.

The next couple of days are going to be a real challenge.
My son is having a tonsillectomy, so my wife is driving down to be with him.
So I not only get to stress and worry about Thomas but routine gets thrown out the window.
And we have thunderstorms the rest of the week; without my wife as a backup ride, I probably won't ride my bike to work.

Scale is slowly crawling down. Cutting carbs way back this week; no grains and limited fruit. Hopefully, this will both kickstart the weight loss into higher gear and help me get better control over my appetite.
Pushup test this morning - 38. Way up from the 22 I started with.

Exercise: Not much today. Some stretching, vibram foot exercises, 100-ups, and some crunches this morning. Had to be at work early and left late, so no cardio.
Diet:
Breakfast: Atkins shake
Lunch: lean hamburger patty with an egg and cheddar cheese
Snack: sushi
Dinner: Made some "not quite Peking" chicken wrapped in lettuce, cauliflower "fried rice" w/ mushrooms, and almond green beans. Damn, that was good - and almost no carbs.

A few years ago, I never wore collared pull-overs. Never liked them and didn't even own one. But I started wearing them a couple of years ago because I didn't have to tuck them in.
NO MORE PULL-OVERS! I pulled out the iron and ironed up some button-downs for the week. I refuse to ever wear a pullover again.
