Yesterday was 2 hours of rowing with the dragon boat group - hard work - the sequel. The team is training for a race - we are not yet part of the team but that meant that we trained too because we have chosen to explore the sport this close to race week. It's very intense and I go through 1.5 litres of water easy in the two hours. Last week I was very stiff for a couple of days afterward so this week, when we got home, I headed down to the pool to do some long, slow laps to work out the stiffness. It seems to have worked as I'm hardly stiff today at all.
Of course, all of that meant that I was hungry for the rest of the day. I had snacks after the race (granola bar, pineapple, isotonic drink, a few potato chips). Then, after the swim, I had some protein drink (only just took the edge off), waited a while and followed that up with some of the previous night's leftover satay (still not quite enough), then some fruit (still hungry), finally after running some errands, we went out for dinner and I had half of a small, thin crust pepperoni pizza and a salad. Not the best choice (and not even that tasty), but I finally felt satisfied.
One of the changes I've noticed in my body is that I can be a little hungry for longer without feeling frantic for something to eat.

p.s. I just tallied yesterday's food and it's not good. I ate my daily points, all of my activity points and then 13 of my flex points for the week. Yikes!
