Only down one pound. I am getting frustrated and a little discouraged. I'm not ready to quit, but I wish this weight would come off a little faster.

I have been doing a lot of walking. On Friday, I walked 3 miles. Yesterday, I did not walk far, but I was at a campground and I had to walk up and down a very steep hill a few times. Let me tell you, I was feeling the burn! Today, I walked 1 1/2 miles. My goal tomorrow is to get up and exercise to my WW video first thing. I got the video with my at home WW kit. I love the moderate level. Does anyone else out there use this video? I think it's called Get Fit. My mother keeps telling me that she sees a change- she is so bias, but I love her encouragement. No one else has said a thing and the scale doesn't lie. I hope to lose some weight this week.

Okay, I weighed in today and stayed the same. I was surprised I did not gain weight to be honest. I had a very emotional week, stress from classwork, death of family friend etc.. I very loosely followed the plan and it shows. I am back on track today and taking it one day (maybe even one meal) at a time. I really want to improve my health and be more fit/active so I'm going to keep at it. On a positive note: This last week, I ate more veggies, fiber, and drank more water than ever before. Yay!

Today, I went to Applebees for lunch and tried their WW rice. It was soooo good. I did not try any of the other WW entrees from the menu, instead I invented my own dish. My mom and I shared an oriental chicken wrap with grilled rather than fried chicken. I left off the sauce and substituted a half an order of WW rice for fries. Water to drink of course. It was really good and sharing it kept the portion just right and inexpensive. I have no idea what the points value on that meal is, but just to play it safe, I'm going to be really careful for the rest of the day. I am definitely hungrier on WW than I ever was on other diets like Atkins, but this just feels better for me. Hopefully, the hunger will eventually subside. Until then, carrot sticks and water are my constant companions.
