I waited one week to weigh in again, and I'm happy I did --- down 2 pounds. I'm so happy that I'm losing weight again. It encourages me to stick to the diet and keep going. I had been losing hope for a while.
In other news, I have been shopping around for a gym membership. I have a trial membership at an "okay" place, but I'd like to join a more modern gym. The place I'm going to now is fairly cheap (250 for the year), but the equipment is a few years old. I had a tour of the local Premier gym. It's so nice, but too much for my budget these days (about $40/month or $480 a year.)There's another place I want to check out that offers 3-month memberships instead of a yearly contract, so maybe that will be a good compromise.
Anyway, let's hope the good news continues next week.
