Well, I am back on here after being off for about a month due to troubles with my health. Unfortunately, not being able to move much made me put on even more weight. I wasn't eating much, but was moving even less. Now I feel better again and ready to kick butt again. I find it so frustrating living with these limitations when I used to be a very active, athletic person. In high school I was in sports activities every single day and weekend. I was the top athlete on our soccer, hockey, badminton and curling teams. I continued the curling and the canoeing into adulthood as well as really enjoy walking - it clears my mind. But for the past year and a half now, my mobility has been severly limited with the RA flareups to the point where I can barely get out of bed with my husbands help. The meds help, to a point, where I have a week or so of good days sprinkled in there, but then I am right back down again. It is making me cranky and depressed and even I don't want to be around me.
