Today was the last day of my 14 day induction period. I haven't completely lost the weight I wanted to therefore I'm staying on induction for another week. I'll hopefully make it a total of 15 lbs. I'm at 8.9 lbs (although yesterday it was at 9.8...uuggghhh!!) so it won't be too bad. I'll take what I can get and be happy. Especially considering that when I did WW it took me 6 weeks to lose this much weight.
My husband and I really haven't struggled that much and didn't really resort to tricks I used in the past (low carb prepared items). We didn't have a real dessert until this weekend (make a low carb induction friendly cheesecake) and we didn't break out the pork rinds until this afternoon. I am really proud of the progress we have made.
We are making this a lifestyle approach to nutrition and not just to lose weight. We are introducing the ANA principles to our children as well.
