I was up another 2 pounds this morning!!! WTF? I didn't even eat (that) bad yesterday. That takes me to 9 pounds over where I was on Saturday's weigh in. This is ridiculous. How can I stop the water weight accumulation? Not only do I look puffy and weird, but I feel terrible. What is going on? This has never happened to me before. My head hurts, my joints hurt. I feel like I've done serious injury to my body and this is scaring me.

I think that this weekend I'm going to do a 3-day cleanse. I'm going to do a fruit juice and raw food cleanse starting Friday night and into Monday.

Update: I just made an appointment to see the doctor this morning.

Update2: Just got back from my doctor. She is also concerned that I've gained 9 pounds since Saturday and 2.6 pounds since yesterday. She did a urine test which came back normal, but also sent out a bunch of blood work testing my kidneys, liver, hormones, and thyroid. Hopefully the blood work will turn up something. She can't prescribe any treatment or medicine until we know exactly what's going on. She told me that if I feel worse or if I gain more than 5 more pounds to call her. One thing that did concern us both is that when she was listening to my heart, she heard a murmur, which we'd never heard before. Of course, the extra fluid in my body could be causing that.

I've got an appointment to go back on April 18 (my birthday) to go over my blood work.

GARR! My computer decided to do a reboot as I was typing my journal entry. Now I have to start all over.

Had another challenging evening yesterday. There were too many left overs from easter still available for me to eat. Fortunately (or maybe not so much) there are now very few left overs available to eat as I ate most of them last night. This morning I was the same weight on the scale. I didn't drink enough water yesterday to start flushing all of the salt from my body. I only drank 2 liters. Today, my goal is to get 4 liters down. So far I'm at 1+ liters. I had one liter + 3 cups of hot herbal tea.

I didn't do my run yesterday. Started having some intestinal distress around noon yesterday. Sharp pains radiating up through my abdomen from my adhesions. Man that stuff smarts. I know better than to eat stuff that will constipate me. I may need to take a colace if things doing start improving.

Also, I think I feel a sick coming on. My son has been sick with the flu all weekend. Today my head hurts and I feel really drained. Of course, that could also be because of all the crap that I've eaten. So, the jury is still out on that one. Man, in reading this I sound like a big whiney baby.

I'll have to finish up on something more positive...I had a great session this morning in hot yoga. Katie was the teacher today and she always does a great class. She even gave me some advice on how to get rid of the wrist pain that I've been having.

Well, I decided to not record my weight this morning because OMG, I was up 7 pounds from yesterday. Seriously 7 pounds??? I know I didn't eat 24,000 extra calories yesterday, so I know that a lot of this weight is water weight. I woke up with my fingers looking like sausages and my eyes SO puffy. Ham...it's bad, mkay.

Had a great day on Saturday. Got my WW lifetime award. Very, very happy about that. Then I went for a 4 mile run, which only turned into 2 miles because the trail I was running on was so muddy that it was impassable in places. Since the trail was so close to my yoga studio, I said, "Eff this, I'm going to yoga." Did a 75 minute yoga class. It was very nice. Then the weather all weekend was so beautiful. For Seattle, that's pretty unbelievable. LOVE this place when the weather is nice.

Yesterday, I was planning on going to an early morning yoga class, but just decided to have a relaxing day instead. We did finger foods for easter meal and went to the movies. Saw Wrath of the Titans. It was better than the Clash of the Titans remake. Which was a pleasant surprise!

I'm planning on doing a 4 mile run again this afternoon on the treadmill. Maybe even try for 5 miles because I need to work off some of that jello cake. :-) It was worth it.
