Had such a great weekend, I've come back feeling so good and rebellious. As in - I don't want to track what I eat, I don't want to drink all that water, I want to eat salty and sweet foods. I've got to get over this quickly. My scale is going in the wrong direction. SOME of it is water weight from all that salt and not enough water, but some of it is legitimate weight gain. My size 6's won't be fitting much longer if I don't get this under control. Maybe I'll just take the rest of the week to recenter myself and not put too much pressure on getting it perfect. Just one little thing at a time -- like drinking water.

Just got back from one of the most fun, most restful weekends! Went to Orcas Island with my BFF. We did the YMCA's Women's Wellness Weekend. Started on Thursday night and ended this mornging. I ate pretty well with a few indulgences -- hello Truffle Fries! And I stayed really active. Did a ton of yoga, did a run from camp into town (4 miles), got a massage, relaxed by the lodge fire, read a great book, crocheted a really warm cowl, did a zip line and the giant swing.
On the way up to camp, we hit the outlet malls. I bought 4 more pair of size 6-long Levis. Upon returning home this afternoon, I bagged up all my size 8 and 10 pants and took them to the Goodwill drop off. Now if I gain weight (which I won't) I'll just have to lose it, because I just paid full price for jeans and I NEVER paid full price before.
I'll be back to tracking my calories again tomorrow. Don't think that I drank enough water though. Not a problem, after a few days of drinking more water I should be over that water weight. Can't wait to go back to camp in November. So much fun!!! And so wonderful to hang out with just women - no kids. Life is good.

Best run yet! Did 3.5 miles in 34 minutes! :-)I think I'm ready for that 5K on St. Patty's day. And I'm so happy one of my work buddies - Katie is going to do the run with me! Got the greatest shirt. can't wait to post that pic.

February has been one of my favorite months in a really long time.
1) I fit into size 6 levis jeans.
2) Had a great physical and I no longer have pre-diabetes signs.
3) I hit my WW goal and I'm only .6 away from my FatSecret goal.
It's amazing to me how everything came together all at one time. I'm in love with looking at my weight history graph -- with that last dot just right on the line.
I celebrated by buying myself a Lululemon running jacket. And it looks kick ass on me. It's the "Devine" line of jackets and it's very form fitting on me -- and it's a size 8 top. So happy to be this close to goal and I"m so happy that I'm eating more instead of trying to starve myself and stay at an impossibly low caloric count for me.
