Overate quite a bit last night. Still stayed in the net negative. My planned meal didn't quite pan out and I had to resort to the left over corned beef. Glad that's out of the house now. I know that I over ate because I didn't drink enough water yesterday. Happens every time. But some times it is so hard to drink water when you feel like you're freezing to death. It's SO cold here. Yesterday is the only day of the week that I've slacked on the water consumption. For me that's not too bad. I guess I'll just drink a lot of hot herbal tea today.
Going for my first run of the week today. Very excited! Especially since I did so great on my 5K this weekend. I'll have a lot of good feeling to sustain me through the run. I'm treadmilling it today. Too yucky outside. However, I think that I might do a run on Saturday after WW meeting instead of going to hot yoga right after -- and then going to hot yoga after that cold run. I want to do that trail run near my house again. It's very fun.

I really like my new soccer team and league that I'm playing on. My skills are very well matched. Had such a great weekend! Did the 5K, when to hot yoga, and played soccer. I normally don't do that much on the weekends. It makes me feel like I accomplished something.
I lowered my goal weight by two pounds to 153. The reason being that I don't want to go over 155. All it takes is one sushi meal and I'm puffed up over 155. I know that isn't a big deal as I can account for water weight gain, but it means something to me to have my highest weekly weights to not go above 155. As soon as I hit the 153 weight, I'm going to try this whole maintenance thing. I'm very nervous about it.
I had such a good time doing my 5K over the weekend that I can't wait to do another 5K. Maybe even train for a 10K??? Maybe I'll be there by the end of summer.

Had an awesome weigh-in this morning! So glad I got up extra early to go to WW. :-) And then I ran my very first 5K ever! It was so much fun. It was a St. Patrick's day run. Of course I dressed up a wee bit.
I did my run in 30:18 with a pace of 9:46. I'm totally stoked that I did the run with a better than 10:00 pace. I was even holding back a touch because my running partner was slower than me. It was so much fun. We were able to chat and talk -- except on hills. She and I are planning our next 5K. We'd like it to be in some of the more sunnier months. The best part of the run was that it stopped raining right before -- and then continued right afterward. It was still too freakin' cold.
When I got home from my run, it was snowing at my house. Yes, that's how cold it was. But it was so much fun and I can't wait to run my next one. I feel invincible. In fact, the race was kinda easy so I think I may train for a 1/2 marathon for the Fall. There's a super easy one at Green Lake park in Seattle. I'll think about it.
I haven't been journaling much lately - mostly because things have been going pretty smooth. Was able to stay on track these last two weeks. The only thing I'm still struggling with is getting in my runs and swims.
Tomorrow I start playing soccer for a women's over 40 league. I don't have the greatest soccer skills but I think I'll do OK. It's just a lot easier playing with a team that knows all of my limitations. What if someone kicks the ball to me? I've got no touch.
